Community Partnerships

Sponsors and contributors

The Children’s Aid Society of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry organizes and coordinates a number of events and fundraising campaigns throughout the year.

Without our community supporting, sponsoring and/or contributing to these events and fundraising campaigns, we would not be successful in reaching our goals. We want to send out a big thank you to our community for always being there to help us make a difference in the lives of children and youth.

Community partners

It is a community responsibility to keep children safe. Every year, we receive many calls from concerned citizens, families, teachers, police, health care professionals and other agencies about children and families who may need our help and support.

In 2012-2013, we received more than 3,300 calls and helped 1,300 families. We couldn’t have done this alone. We work in collaboration with and rely strongly on our community partners who provide the following services:

  • Police services
  • Education: school boards, community education and information
  • Healthcare and public health services
  • Treatment programs for adults
  • Triple P- Positive Parenting Program

Together, the Children’s Aid Society of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry and our local partners work with children and families for a stronger, healthier community. When a family needs help and support, we link them with a variety of community services and partners.
